Federica Badino
She is a researcher (RTDa Geo/02) of CN5 - National Biodiversity Future Center – NBFC (Spoke 7) at the University of Florence (Department of Earth Science). She obtained her PhD in Environmental Sciences (Milano-Bicocca University) in 2016. She carried out her research activity at CNR-IGAG of Milan, University of Bologna (Department of Cultural Heritage) and University of Padova (Department of Geosciences). Her studies focus on ecological dynamics and climate-human-environmental interactions at millennial to sub-millennial time scales through palynological analysis of Pleistocene and Holocene series. Currently, she is working on recent and ongoing biodiversity dynamics in the mediterranean coastal lagoons (Tuscany).
